George Dore Head of Community

George started his football journey as a 9-year-old representing Woking District and carried on playing for the Woking youth teams through to the U16s. He then joined the Woking Academy programme and represented Woking FC in the FA Youth Cup.

Since joining the CITC team he has gained experience in many different areas, including women’s football, walking football, toddlers’ football sessions, mental health football league, disability sport, activities in local care homes and teaching in local primary schools. His latest role is as a PE subject lead in a local primary school. He has worked alongside Roy Hodgson and was responsible for the ball people during a national league playoff final at Wembley stadium. George is a very proud member of the youth academy coaching team and has brought his current U16 group of players through from U9s.
