Kevin Barker Hospitality

Kevin has been volunteering at Woking FC Academy for over 13 years, fulfilling a variety of roles – from kitman to collecting gate money. He is currently responsible for the opening and closing of Westfield and Knaphill for Academy games. He also takes care of the match officials, hospitality for visiting players and officials, refreshments for spectators and ensures both facilities are clean and tidy before leaving.

Prior to his involvement in football Kevin ran his own business for 20 years importing North American sports magazines and merchandise. His keen interest in sport led Kevin to become a football referee and cricket umpire, officiating at a good standard of play. Kevin is also interested in ice hockey.

Kevin’s involvement in sport has taken him all over the world, a particular highlight being on the Corinthian Casuals trip to Brazil to officially open the Sao Paulo ground that was used for the World Cup.
